Student's Strategies in Coping with Writing Anxiety

Investigating the causal factors, effects, and strategies to overcome writing anxiety is aim of this research. A fifth semester student English Education Study Program, Teacher Training Faculty Universitas Tanjungpura with high learning motivation was chosen as participant case study design employed in research by using semi-structured interview document analysis method data collection. The result indicated that experienced cognitive where she felt difficult deciding a topic, choosing relevant vocabulary, appropriate grammar. Writing caused frequency assignment, feeling lack linguistics skill fear being criticized others. Based on findings, it revealed brought facilitative effect toward her performance which led take some efforts managing several anxiety. It reported vocabulary checking, creating constructive surroundings have practice, diary writing, doing challenge are had used
